The diagnosis monitors the mixture adaptation process. Fault monitoring conditions: The fault is detected if the fuel-air mixture is too lean and, depending on load condition, has to be enriched by 25 to 30 %. |

Consequential faults: If additional faults are entered for the following components, these must be processed first: - Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter. - Hot film air mass meter. - Intake pipe vacuum sensor. - Intake air temperature sensor. - Electromotive throttle controller. - Tank vent valve. - Camshaft sensor. - High-pressure fuel system. - Low pressure fuel system. Check differentiated air intake system for tightness, thereby checking the following components as well: - Crankcase ventilation. - Oil filler cap. - Oil dipstick. - Tank ventilation system. - Brake servo. - Cylinder head cover. Check exhaust system for leaks. Replace injectors. |
