Fault Code Description |
---|
Diagnosis monitors oxygen sensor emissions control. The mixture is too lean and is enriched through the oxygen sensor emissions control. Fault monitoring conditions: The fault is detected if the mixture takes more than 30 s to be enriched more than 30%. |

Note: The designations of terminal status or PWF status apply according to the vehicle electrical system of the vehicle. |
Fault Time Condition |
---|
The fault code is entered if it exists for longer than 30 s |
Service Plan |
---|
If additional faults are entered for the following components, these must be processed first: - Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter - Hot film air mass meter - Intake pipe pressure sensor - Intake air temperature sensor - Camshaft sensor - High-pressure fuel system - Low-pressure fuel system - Valvetronic intake adjuster - VANOS adjustment unit - Voltage supply sensor system/actuator 5 V Check air intake system for tightness, checking the following components as well at the same time: - Crankcase ventilation - Oil cap - Tank ventilation system Check exhaust system for leak tightness. Rule out poor fuel grade. Renew injectors and then reset adaptations. |
Fault Impact |
---|
- Lack of power. - Rough engine running. |
