Fault Information

Fault Code Description
Diagnosis monitors the build-up of the fuel high pressure while starting the engine.
The fault is detected after engine start when the fuel high pressure is below 10 to 30 bar.

Possible fault cause:
- Pressure holding valve (low-pressure fuel system) faulty
- High pressure pump faulty
- Fuel injector faulty
- Electric fuel pump faulty
Fault Code Conditions

Service Plan
- Measurement of low-pressure fuel if the fuel pressure is too low; then carry out function check of electric fuel pump
- Carry out pressure holding check of low-pressure fuel system
- Check high pressure pump using measures in testing procedure
- Check injectors using measures in testing procedure
Fault Impact
Possible noticeable symptoms:
- Lack of power
Breakdown information:
‐ The engine is operating in the emergency program, the trip can be continued to a very restricted extent, stop on the next opportunity and wait for roadside assistance.
