The diagnosis monitors the pressure in the crankcase. Fault monitoring conditions: The fault is detected if the deviation of the pressure in the crankcase from the model value is too high. Maximum permissible ratio of measured crankcase pressure to model value: - unthrottled operation: between 0.1 and 0.3 (depending on variant). - throttled operation: between 0.05 and 0.3 (depending on variant). |

Turn and tilt clean air sheet several times to check whether the non-return valve opens and close in the process. When shaking the clean air sheet, a rattling noise must be audible, which is generated by the non-return valve. |
