Fault Code Description |
---|
Diagnosis monitors the power consumption of the pump for the DMTL module during a time frame. The fault is detected when a corresponding current value is not reached within a map-dependent time frame. Possible fault cause: - Leakage > 1 mm in the tank ventilation system |
Fault Code Conditions | |

General Conditions |
Voltage precondition: 9.5 V < vehicle voltage < 17.9 V Temperature precondition: None Time precondition: none Other preconditions: none |
Terminal Condition |

Driving Conditions |
Fault Time Condition |
---|
The fault code is entered if the fault occurs after the following procedure: - DMTL functional check - Distance travelled > 200 m, during which the speed must have exceeded 15 km/h once |
Service Plan |
---|
1. If faults relating to the DMTL are stored, clear the fault memory 2. Perform DMTL functional check (see 'Precondition for fault entry') 3. If the fault cannot be reproduced, there is no leak! Conclude repair! 4. If the fault can be reproduced by the DMTL functional check, there is a leak in the tank ventilation system, look for leak. |

The DMTL functional check can only be performed when no fault code relating to the DMTL is entered. The preconditions for fault detection refer to the functional check and not to the diagnosis that takes place during normal operation. |
